Charleston Graveyard
The Hutson - Peronneau Vault, is the largest burial monument in the Circular Congregational Church yard in Charleston, South Carolina. An archeological survey in the1980's found at least 18 persons had been buried in the vault, including Arthur Peronneau, who died in 1774, and Richard Hutson, who died in 1795. Hutson was a brother-in-law of Arthur Peronneau and was selected the first mayor of Charleston in 1783.
