Description
A bull elk (Cervus elaphus) grazes in Yellowstone National Park. A bull grows a new rack of antlers each year, and the velvety appearance of the antlers is due to the skin and fur which cover the antlers while they are growing in. There are an estimated 10,00020,000 elk in Yellowstone National Park.
