Description
Upper Amicalola Falls
Amicalola Falls, located in the lush North Georgia Mountains, is the highest waterfall in Georgia at 729 feet. The park's name is derived from a Cherokee language word meaning "tumbling waters". The upper portion, pictured here, is breathtaking, because of its gorgeous sight and sound, as well as the 425 stairs you must descend to see it!
