Description
My sisters have often spoken about visiting the swans and riding on the Swan Boats in the Boston Public Gardens as children. I was four when we moved away from Boston, so I don't have my own memories of this annual tradition, so wanted to visit the swans and ride the boats when visiting Boston last year. The mute swans (Cygnus olor) summering in the Public Garden are named Romeo and Juliet, after their predecessors, but both are actually female.
