With an elevation of 3,080 feet, Humpback Rocks affords 360 degree, beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway; to the west is the Shenandoah Valley, to the north is Shenandoah National Park, and southwest you see the George Washington Natural Forest. Humpback Rocks name comes from the apparent "hump" the rocks create in the side of Humpback Mountain near Waynesboro, Virginia.
