Description
Where the Antelope Play
The pronghorn (Antilocapra Americana) is the fastest land mammal in the Western Hemisphere. They can run at speeds of up to 60 miles an hour, leaving pursuing coyotes and bobcats in the dust. While often referred to as "Pronghorn Antelope", pronghorn are not actually antelope, but are a related species. This male pronghorn was surrounded by his harem in Antelope Island State Park, Salt Lake City, Utah.
